I have a genuine concern for people, and it has always been a part of who I am. Whenever someone is in need of assistance, I am the first to step forward and lend a helping hand.

Over two decades ago, I established myself as a top salesperson, achieving remarkable success by selling real estate worth over one million dollars in a single month. However, times have changed since then. To challenge myself and expand my portfolio, I ventured into sales and property management.

​

This new path proved to be both demanding and enlightening, exposing me to countless stories and eye-opening experiences.

​

Driven by a desire to deepen my understanding of property management, I made a deliberate choice to join a non-profit organization specializing in complex tenancy management. In this role, I directly engaged with high-risk clients, providing them with valuable education on becoming successful renters. My clients encompassed a diverse range of individuals, including survivors of domestic violence, perpetrators, individuals with criminal backgrounds, people of all ages from infants to seniors, individuals affected by substance abuse, and those in palliative care. Throughout this period, I faced physical assaults, verbal abuse, threats, instances of being held against my will, and even being run over three times. Yet, it was during these challenging experiences that I gained invaluable insights into human nature, all while studying mediation, conflict resolution, VCAT strategy, and commercial and rooming house laws.

Notably, my family and I have personally encountered the perils of life, and this has equipped me with skills that many property managers lack. It is a significant advantage for my clients when I approach problem-solving from unconventional angles to achieve the desired outcomes. I have invested considerable time in educating landlords and property managers, empowering them to continuously learn and evolve.

​

As a business owner, I am selective about the landlords I work with. I seek those who value a property manager with both industry experience and life experience. In the realm of property management, caring about people and their circumstances is paramount. The industry is far from glamorous, and I have witnessed both its positive and negative sides. It is not about superficial appearances or outward image; rather, it is about navigating challenges with moral and ethical integrity. It requires finding innovative solutions to overcome obstacles and, most importantly, the ability to find a way to fit square pegs into round holes.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of learning from the best in the industry, garnering recognition as the Top Property Manager in Victoria and Tasmania on multiple occasions. In a moment that humbles me to this day, the Premier of Victoria, John Brumby MP, chose to launch his Rooming House policy from a property I project managed during the devastating black Saturday bushfires, where we provided shelter to affected families.

My vision is to collaborate with clients who are tired of the same old property management system that everyone complains about. What I offer is refreshingly distinct. My approach to every situation is completely unconventional. My wife, Karla, is a fully licensed agent who leads our administration and creative teams, while also overseeing our rental hubs in Melbourne, Central & Northern Victoria, and Gippsland.
